How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Ton,
Did you sell that one on eBay a couple years back? I seem to remember seeing that one for sale and wanting to buy it so bad even though I knew it was too small and too warm for where I live.
I did. Was a great jacket but too small for me as well. Brown with brown shearling liner. It was ridiculously cool.

I took a punt on this Ralph Edwards jacket on eBay , I’d like to know if anyone can tell me the age of it . 70’s /80’s maybe?

Ah and for me now, strange. It basically said there should be two individual numbers in the middle of the contract number that pertain to the date of manufacture, i.e.there was an 84 in the one shown.

Ok, so the reason it did not work was simply because it was too small. A jacket of this style with shearling liner can work?

I think it could. The shearling gives the body of the jacket a much more robust character. The jacket pictured is a 42". I'd add 2" inches to the body and sleeve and go for a 44" myself. It was very warm. Heavenly feeling actually. Just too small for me.

The Aeromarine from Aero’s sale page arrived today. I tried it on and it feels like a keeper. Wouldn’t want it any bigger, and I knew this style would be slightly roomier than my 30’s half belt. The only concern I had was that the sleeves would be short, but they are actually longer than on my half belt. Probably me and Aero measure sleeves in different ways.

The russet goat hide looks very nice and feels super soft and luxurious. Certainly a very different feel from my HH CXL!

Had this been a custom order I would have requested an inside pocket, but I don’t think I will miss it since I only use inside pocket for my phone and it fits in the cargo pockets.

Pics! And I would be grateful for any critique on the fit. Thanks!

The fit is spot on for the style and body lenght is perfect.

I would love to see progress once the leather gets some use. That is a very rich colour and goatskin must be tough but light.

Wear pics are coming, I am also curious to see how the goat breaks in. It’s rare to see an Aero goat on the lounge. Just have to wait until it’s warm enough to wear it [emoji6]

My SJC 33 wool halfbelt arrived yesterday: luvverly stuff.

Weirdly still jonesing badly for an orange-liner MA1, though!

That's stunning Edward!!! I really love the, cut, colour & textile combination. SJC is turning out some lovely pieces. Wife got me one of the Art Deco belts as a surprise Xmas present.

Was jonesing here too for another MA-1, turned up an XL Blue 'Vintage' series Alpha on the Bay & thought it would be rude not to. Turned up today, lovely condition.

Still hankering after an orange liner too, Cockpit USA could be a goer later. Sage or black?

SJC is really a label to watch. Between them, Darcy, and Aero's plans, I finally feel like there *are* people making exactly the clothes I want to wear!

The Cockpit "Authentic" MA1 in green would be my choice once the pound regains on the dollar a bit (and maybe bought on a US trip to save the import tax hassle). If I can try one somewhere in the Uk, I'm tempted by the (close to) Hunter spec Rothco model as a beater. For a blackbone, well.... That would really have to be a Buzz....
