Glorious. Very nice colour.

Crofut & Knapp for a wedding.

Beautiful. Easy to see why it's a favorite.

Out running the roads in the neighboring counties with the beater 7XCB. On the banks of the Eleven Point River...

A 7XCB beater eh? The sun shines down upon you indeed if you can say that, Bob.

Beautiful hat! Looks great on you.
Thank you, Héctor.

One of my all time favs!!
Borsa does nutria soooo nice!
B
Thanks, Bowen. It has been waiting for its turn patiently (waited for the wind to die down a bit).

Trumphing the week again, Stefan.
Thank you, Steve. It has been weather to hide in a cave recently, so it was time again to see some daylight.

Bronzo = beauty!
Thanks, Randy. I promised myself to wear it more, it deserves it.

Today....I believe this is the first hat i ever posted after joining the lounge. I’ve posted it a few times since. I pull it out when i wear certain jackets and today, to see Willow was one. She won’t allow more pics so here’s what i got.
Vintage Flagship with the embroidered liner.
Gotta love those airplanes.
Be well. Bowen
Edit: stuff like this is why.
Not a flag in sight, but who cares? Great hat and great pics, Bowen.

Grand looking Fléchet. Quite a rare shape and proportions for one of their hats.

A green Borsalino tonight at a German Restaurant for my sister’s 60th birthday. I need a German hat !

Do you now? Will Austrian do as well? Nice hats and pics, Tim.

Spent some time today brushing... scrubbing and steaming this Super Borsalino Antica Casa. As well as reattached it’s ribbon. What an improvement! Could use some more work sure... Not perfect.. nor will it be. But There is life left in this one still!! not a full casualty of the ‘Punic wars’ yet @Daniele Tanto HaHa

Brüder Böhm "Luxor" possibly later 1930s. This is a Wool Felt from my May 2016 NOS Czech find. Soft and Stiff Wool Felt Hats were very common in Pre WWII Europe.

Interesting 1920s "The American Hatter" article. Mentions the popularity of Wool Hats in Europe. Also BB's machine making capabilities. By the way Tonak currently uses Cone Dyeing machines.

The only way I can handle these pics is by knowing they're not my size! Still an awesome sight; get's me every time.

Sometimes you just feel like it’s a red hat day. An Art Fawcett red hat windy day to be exact.

Not a vintage today, but a vintage hat of the future when I'm long gone, unless I'm cloned :)

Looking good, Steve. Interesting thought to think how a modern hat will hold up over 30, 40 or 50 years.

A Knox twenty would do any day. Very nice!

Splendid, Brent. As a homburg fan I can only applaud that one.

Excellent, Joe. Nice Marathon.

View attachment 217138 View attachment 217139 View attachment 217140 Was about to head out this afternoon with this great looking Stetson, but it was so windy out I switched to my old Strategic Air Command ballcap instead. Pure Beaver Fortune and Glory, I keep this one open crown and it takes just seconds to bash.
Seems like I've seen one of these before. :) Very nice, Ken.

Stellar hat, Greg. For me one of your best.

Nice, and gills too!

Been wearing hats occasionally the past couple months, but not daily. I've favored the Optimo Manhattan, but have also worn my VS Bobby Blue, Dennis Brooks black beaver hat, and a Hannah Hats flat cap. I will need to relearn how to resize the images. Apologies if they come across too large in this post. It's great to see all the wonderful lids you all have been sporting.
I really dig that Stetson Sovereign, Brent @deadlyhandsome , and the 7X CB is also stunning @Bamaboots . Nice pup too.
You wear them all well, Jeff.

Thanks for the likes and compliments for the hats showed in these days!
It's a classic, Daniele and it's heartwarming to know that there are people around who can both spot a good hat and appreciate it.

Fine hat sharing lately! Wow. Not enough time to extend a cheer to everyone. Feel free to share in this cheer - CHEER!

Alan, after seeing many of your superlative, antique, mint condition hats, and @AbbaDatDeHat : Bowen’s, and @Short Balding Guy : Eric’s, and others, it makes me want to ask you guys: what are your far into the future plans for these fantastic vintage hats? No doubt each of you see yourselves as curators of self procurement hattery museums. Who will take care of these beauties when the sad day, no one wants to speak of, comes?
I’m sure we would all like to hear your individual answers.

No idea to date.

WOW! I can never get enough of gazing at this pic.

A grail hat if ever there was one. You look sharp under it's brim.

Dang that is a cool gilled green hat!

Jeff; Glad to see you have made back to the land of ice and snow. Too much California makes the heart wish for snow, IMO. Grand head gear.

Eric:
Your caps are every bit as epic as your hats and you never fail to compliment each with outerwear of equal panache.
You are a daily lesson in style and i enjoy the soirées.

There's something special about grey European velours that makes my heart sing!
Thanks, Wayne. I've been looking at this hat for quite a while and decided to pull the trigger on it last week. It's a good one alright.
I like the look of the felt on that Knox vagabond by the way!
