They are an expensive brand of jackets, too expensive to buy sight/fit unseen... what do you think? Do you generally order and then return if you don't like it? Are they usually consistent? like jacket model 1 A will look/feel just like jacket model 1 B?

By soft what do you mean? Are they soft/smooth to the touch when you run your fingers around them?

I'm interested in getting one in the future, probably a 641 (I like the idea they are shorter), maybe a 141. Now when people refer to softness I'm not sure what they mean. Are they talking about like how if you grab a jacket, how hard or easy it is to squeeze it together or move it around in...

I like jackets that drape and I think some jackets look good when they drape.. others like bombers or biker jackets look better thick and smooth.. anyway my current jack, it's lamb/sheep, fairly thick comparatively.. but feels like it could tear easier than goat/cow if you know what I mean.

Outstanding looking jacket. I really want a navy blue leather jacket now. I had the totally wrong impression of all horsehide before seeing this... they all looked like crumpled up tin foil but this looks amazing! I wonder how much cow compares to horse in this kind of jacket? Smoothness?
