Know the feeling, moving here too, decluttering time... and if those hats were my size I'd be snapping them up, but I'm also nearly 58 size or 7 1/4 US, so no go sadly.

No-one better try the lighter trick on my lovely Aero ANJ-3 I bought from the gentleman above (Edward) - I can't get over what a great snug fit it is on me, despite me being a size 38 and the label being 42.
Up where I live it's more likely to be attacked by rampaging sheepdogs and/or copious...
I think you may have answered your own question there ;) - the cheapest mass production hats don't last very well, and I think even a professional hatter might possibly be hard pushed to restore that snap to an ultra cheap fur felt. If you like (as I do) the brim down at front, then what I have...
My 50+ years old horse hide leather jacket took a simple application of Pecards Leather Dressing rather well, and looks much better for it. It doesn't leave any greasy remnants either.

I was also informed about three or four weeks ago by Aero that a leather jacket of mine needing repairs (a new waistband) would take at least two months, maybe more, as they are so busy. Eastman leather didn't even reply to my query, so they must be even busier...

Not sure what it is but I think berets always suit women with shoulder length or longer hair far more than men, crazydaisy looks fabulous there in that blue beret which I would never have said would work as a colour if I saw it on a shelf.
Got my other half a beret a few weeks back in a light...
Difficult to tell but it also looks as if whatever it was had a wider ribbon/band/leather on it, if the marks left behind are where it was stitched... [huh]
I wouldn't buy something looking like that on Ebay anyway... lol
