That's the thing on Asperger-Syndrome, too. I must (generally) keep space between me and other people, just to protect myself from social communication-problems AND to protect myself from nuisances/energy-vampires/histrionics, because there are a lot of them outside, sadly.

We have been eating all cold meals for the last week or so. It's been north of 90 both heat and humidity everyday and we don't have air-conditioning in the kitchen. So beyond not feeling a desire for hot food, we don't want to turn our kitchen into a blast furnace trying to prepare it.
