Good eyes... it's an older picture. I have a couple of stretchers. I don't believe the wooden one is brand marked. The metal one is a Garvé. I use the latter more for working on hats - the wooden one for display, mostly.
Boy @alanfgag Alan those are NICE ! I think @buler bought one of the Bulgarian Hat Stretchers last year or the year before . I keep looking .
They're NICE ! BTW I guess Metal clad Garve' Hat Stretchers and Medal Badges are different . Whoops !

The felt is just wonderful but my favorite part of this hat is the sweatband ... just such quality.
... I hate when people tack the wind trolley button to the ribbon.... aaargh!!! ... I'll deal with that at some point

Beautious catch there, Anthony!! I believe that button style was the ticket in the late 30's, early 40s. It's original to the hat. I vote to leave it, but it's your hat.courtesy of my not so secret weapon Adrian ...

Looks Great moon . I heard that some Hats had the button attached , and the cord hooked to your button on a jacket . Not sure if thats true , but it sounds reasonable .

Hardeman was a west coast manufacturer based in Seattle from the early years of the century closing in 1953. The original factory is still standing in Seattle, it is now gentrified with fancy pants upscale businesses. I found ads in a couple of newspapers from 1949 touting the Magic Fit.

this trolley on one of my Borsalinos is fixed as well.... factory ?
the button is fixed and the chord goes around the crown then wraps the button ... looks like it has never been unwrapped from the button... never seen anything like it
