Interesting find: a deerskin half-belt in caramel. The jacket has black satin lining, brass Talon zipper, and thick cotton-lined pockets.

Revive the thread here with a question: how to condition a very soft tan deerskin?

leave discoloration aside, could conditioner damage it? Are deer tanned differently? Of course, I use the best stuff with no silica.

There's no leather you can hurt with a good quality conditioner. But, as you say, it will change colour for a time. The key is not using too much.
