How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

In 2015, french company Chronopost "lost" a package coming from Canada with a brand new Himel Bros 2 tone Avro made of the finest SHinki Horsehide. It diseappeared in the custom warehouse. I lost around 2k$ at the time

In 2019, I ordered and paid for a Buco J31 repro by David Howell (Diamond Clothing) I received a completely frankenstein Off jacket with not a measurement matching my request. He never refound me nor remade me an alternative jacket despite my patience and repeated request to make things right. I lost 1500$.

I lost about a grand altogether.

Some of my favorite moments are...

First I never received a pair of leather pants that I bought for $180 on Etsy, which at the time had trash buyer protection and couldn't issue a full refund... The pants disappeared somewhere in California, only to re-appear some 5 years later on eBay again. Sadly, I found them by browsing sold items so there wasn't anything I could do at that point. I still sometimes think about what could've possibly happen with them. The seller is still active so it wasn't a scam.

Not long ago, I bought a Disquared2 cross-zip leather jacket for 500 Euros that was described as being in an As new condition which almost would have been the case, if the entire proprietary 2-way zipper slider wasn't missing. Apparently, the seller didn't notice there was anything wrong with it - Even though they buckled the belt prior to boxing it.

At one time, an entire box containing a haul of 7 packages, disappeared somewhere between France and Croatia with $2000 worth of clothes but luckily, it turned up after 3 months, completely soaked. Thankfully, all the stuff was mostly fine except for one WW2 leather belt which grew what I believe is an entire new species of mold and fungi.

I grabbed this one cheap because that one collar point is PERFECT, and if I can figure out how to get the flat side to match (and if it fits!) I'll be happy. What should I expect with vintage Cooper?

And I pulled the trigger on this one when a coupon code popped up, but then disappeared when I checked out. Frick.

I love the color and amount of wear on this one. When I get the call that my Ridley zipper replacement is done, I may have this one re-lined.

Picked up a Schott 619 from a buddy, got it in hand today. It's in the lightweight naked cowhide with a ton of pull up. Very excited to throw it on and see how it feels.

There's also a pair of 1940s engineer boots at auction starting at 800 dollars in my size tomorrow that I don't even want to look at anymore :000

More leather adjacent things coming in. I tend to buy stuff and sell the things I don't love. It's cool when stuff quickly sells on eBay

I just recieved two "new" to me Peacoats, ones a 1970 in the unheard of large 46 size! That was great for layering but I still wanted a fitted one, and kept my eye out.
I then nabbed a 1949/50 in a 44, in incredible barely worn condition! It’s stunner!
Oh and about 6 weeks back I snagged a Boston made Vanson straight zip in tan, I conditioned and waxed it to nice shiny light brown. It has no chest pockets, but two hand warmers, buckle adjusters on the sides of the back, and a snap back cafe collar.

Ordered an AN-J-4 whilst I was up there.

Seal 22mm sheepskin with seal jerky leather trim so now patiently waiting...well, sort of patiently.

We think the same again, fortunately I can't wear boots. I'm always looking for advertising, signs, catalogs, whatever. These last few months I've purchased a rather odd assortment of jackets.

It's been about 4 months since my last jacket purchase, leather or otherwise, and then a Taubers x-zip turned up with the right measurements...

Nice Taubes! I like these orange label Taubers more and more. Collars are hard to find on Taubes.

Picked this up from Aero when in Scotland last week.

Aeromarine in Cordovan Vicenza.

One of my favorite styles. Originals are impossible to find at any price. I've owned A Bill Kelso and a Himel. Both were nice but gone. I like the Aero as well as any I've seen. Your jacket is no exception. You picked it up in Scotland! What size is this jacket?
