Size 42. Seriously the toughest, thickest baddest leather you can buy. Retails for 975 plus shipping, selling for 650. Check out their webpage. Amazing stuff. This is the Easy Ryder in Horsehide.
Yup, it stands up by itself : )
Well my Jacket is back and all I can say is OH MY!!! I dont know if they had to slaughter a special horse for me or what but this is AMAZING!!!. Every inch of the leather is supple and stunning like butter. Every stitch and the styling is perfect. I am blown away.
So it just came and of course faster than expected. So is it perfect. Yes. But I just like my Horse so much better. I just want another HH instead. Gonna list her in the classifieds and EBay. Just not my style between the recommended brass color and feel of the soft Goat : (
Finally learning...
Lost weight and probably went a size too big. Selling to buy a size down. $700. The only thing thats not on this coat is the piece of pull leather on the zipper. I thought it looked odd for normal jacket and took it off.
Well I am shocked but I love to be proved wrong. Figured its worth posting for someone to have a point of reference. So after comparing the two it turns out the jacket I grab every time is the Aero. Technically there are some tiny flaws on the collar and yes I can hold up both and show how much...
Hi gang,
did anyone get one of insurrections special run of Aero Cafe Racers. He was posting about them a while back but I dont see the jacket on their site and I have not seen a post from anyone that got one. Just curious.
My new coat itch has begun. Maybe I will turn this in to a two parter...
First one is a Schott 740N Black Leather Pea Coat. Size 42. $185. Great condition
Second is a Faconnable Brown Suede jacket (Jeans style). Size L Shoulders 22". Chest 24". Sleeve 22.5" and base of rear neck collar to bottom 25".
Stain on collar but should come out. I am not cleaning it as I will...
Hi Gang,
looking for opinions on Wested. basically I want A light light leather jacket. The closest thing to my ideal jacket seems to be the Layer Cake (movie)one.
The heavy suburban in HH is great for colder and I have an Aero cafe racer coming. So this would be best in Lamb, goat or a nice...
Sorry for the bad pic but I only have my phone today.
Wow, another score in my book. I am simply amazed at their product. I was going to go Horsehide but oddly enough a Jacket appeared on the sale page in my size. Its Cowhide but thank goodness I grabbed it. There is no comparison to say the...
I read that HH was waterproof but earlier saw a thread discussing Chrome versus Veg dyed.
I think it stated that Chrome was waterproof and that Veg dying was not. I thought the HH naturally repelled water either way.
I finally snapped a few pics. Also sadly is one shot of my brother in laws Aero which just arrived after 5 months. SAD, stitching all over the place, crooked and bunched up lining as well.
We met because I was about to also order a Cafe Racer. Needless to say its going to be a LW.
The Suburban...
Any advice on a great pair of dress boots. I have a pair of Wesco riding boots and want the same quality in a low pair of dress boots. Looked at the Aussi RM Williams but read a lot of comments regarding them not lasting long.
Looking for the perfect cafe Racer. Biggest issue is my collar struggle. I like the the more mandarinish (if thats a word) style that I see in the LW and even the Schott 141 and 644hh. Also not a fan of the Bi swing back versus straight back.
Any makers I am missing or styles that solve my...
