Pick it up quick!!
I recently came across an old straw boater (thanks for the lead, Bob!) from the Gate City Hat Company, manufactured out of Omaha, NE. The company started in the late 1800's. In may of 1890, they succeeded Parrotte Scripps & Co., which was involved in the fur trading business. However, I'm not...
From my personal collection, this medium grey Borsalino Savoy is tough to let go. However, you know the feeling, you keep looking at it on the shelf, "Maybe I'll wear it tomorrow". I've been saying that for at least a year.
This hat made it to me from another 'Lounger a few years ago. It...
I came across this Lee hat recently, and I was smitten by how beautiful it is. This is a Black Label "All American", very fitting for this hotly contested election year! The grey (very pale blue) felt is thinner than a slice of NY pizza, very light in weight, with a nicely executed 1/4" narrow...
1. Dobbs Sweatband
I am refurbishing a beautiful Dobbs Nor' Wester to my size. As a result of my efforts, I cannot use the original sweatband. Does anyone have a usable vintage Dobbs sweatband, so that I could maintain a vintage overall appearance?
I intend to wear this hat, so I'm looking for...
This is a beautiful Dobbs Milan with an incredible pug that I had purchased for the owner of my company. He always makes nice comments about my hats, so I decided to give it a shot and buy something for him. His reaction was a little muted. It went right on his shelf, never to be worn again...

Unfortunately, this beautiful Stetson does not fit me. It's a touch too tight, I'm 7 1/4. Rather than scrap the sweatband by sizing it up, I wanted to keep it original and offer it up for sale.
The coloring on this hat is very nice, I would call it sage grey with natural goldish-brown...
This is a hat in my collection that doesn't get enough head time. I wish it did, because I really like it, but I need to thin the herd. It was formerly a vintage silverbelly Beaver Brand Open Road style that I had re-blocked and renovated all the way through by Mike Miller of Northwest Hats...
I have been on the tip of the fence with this one. On the one hand, I wanted a versatile natural / light colored fedora, so I picked up this vintage Dobbs Nor'Wester from a listing that had been sitting awhile. However, it's 2 sizes too small for me. I was confident that I could re-block it...
This is a vintage Carlson Panama fedora with a generous 3" brim. Size 7 1/4, head opening is 7 7/8" x 6 3/8". Hard to find a wide brim like this in a vintage straw. The details in the weave are very nice and the natural color is fantastic; beautiful hue. Not sure what the open crown height...
In an effort to raise funds from lonely hats, I am listing this vintage milk chocolate brown ADAM Executive homburg. Like some of the other hats I've listed, this rarely gets worn. Maybe it's just been a while since winter, which was the last time I wore it. Either way, I need to move it off...
This is a beautiful whiskey colored Kevin McAndrew hat, mint. I've had this for a little while now, but I haven't worn it as much as I've been displaying it on my shelf. So, that said, it should go to a home where it will be worn and appreciated. Or, if you want to display it you can do that...
Due to the lack of head time, I am selling my Cavanagh Milan. I originally got this from Robert, so it was well taken care of and in terrific condition. Size 7 1/4 LO. Color: Natural or "Dusk". Crown is around 4 1/8" creased at the front, 4 1/4" at the back, and 4 7/8" at the sides. 2" pug...
I've been on the fence with this hat, both in style and my desire to keep it. There are so many things that make this hat attractive, but I just can't seem to sell myself on the whip-stitch. [huh]
This is a chocolate brown Crofut & Knapp TWENTY, Gay Prince style fedora. Size 7 3/8. I...
What's the most you've stretched a hat without re-blocking? For instance, have you stretched it to the point where you've popped the back stitch? When you pop or even intentionally cut the stitches, does this affect the rest of the secondary stitches around the sweatband and/or the ribbon?
I have 6 settings of vintage Wm Rogers Mfg. Co. silverware with really nice art deco styling. This came from my mother's china cabinet. It was given to her many years ago, but I don't know the age. This is silver plated with stainless knife blades. Comes with a lined storage case. All...
I bought these side zip boots from Aldo a few years ago. Wore them for a season and then they started to sit in my closet. These received a lot of comments when I did wear them. Unfortunately, they run big, so the size 11 feels more like a size 11 1/2 - 12. Plus, the toe rise extends pretty...
