    Help! I scratched my new G&B goatskin A-2

    I heard of someone who tried to do something similar with his G&B Expedition involving a jeep and a gravel road, but hardly noticed any scuffs. Sorry to hear about the scratch on your jacket. A lot of people seem to have the opposite problem with G&B goatskins--that they won't scuff fast enough.

    Cowboy Boots

    I still have a pair of Tony Lama boots from about 15 years ago--one of the better pairs of boots I could find in our small Nebraskan town. I got them re-soled several years back. While I don't get much use out of them here in California, I still bring 'em back to my folks' farm on occasion.

    Perhaps a gray felt called "granite" might work? I'd describe it as a light-medium gray, but with brown undertones instead of gray. Penman Hats and Adventurebilt have it, and perhaps other hatters have a similar felt color. I've seen it go well with brown leather jackets and with navy suit...
