Been quite awhile since I posted here. I was surprised to find Art's site basically down a few weeks ago so I checked here to find out what was going on.
Congrats Art on your retirement! I'm sad for us but thrilled for you!
I am lucky to have two of Art's hats and was planning on another when I...
Ok, this really doesn't belong here considering the source of the comment, but my wife got a kick out of this so I figured I'd share.
I went to the Walmart during lunch to take care of a honeydo list I was given. I am wearing a trench coat and my Art Fawcett Sportaire. So I'm trying to find...
Thanks for the compliments, but Art Fawcett gets all the credit!
The stitching is for the edge binding that is difficult to see in that picture. Here's another picture that shows the binding...
If money were no object, I would definitely get a few more works of Art.
I have many hats I want to get from him and not enough money! :eusa_doh:
I would also like to get an Optimo too, but Art is my first choice.
I just got an order from them. Great service, first of all! I got complimented yesterday for my cologne (Ogallala Bay Rum) and my wife can't get enough of the Bay Rum, Lime and Peppercorn shaving soap (we both love the fragrance). I got the shaving soap sampler and that is the first one I tried...
I've had no luck finding it at Walgreens - I'll look again but it might be a regional thing. [huh]
I have found that every version of Bay Rum I have tried is a bit different. The key I have found for any aftershave/cologne is to not decide if you like it with a sniff from the bottle. Put some...
I have been getting it online. Lately I have only been able to find the Pinaud Clubman aftershave in the stores. I use Clubman (my wife really likes that one ;) ) but I also like a few of the other Pinauds out there, so it's online shopping I go.
Thank you!
It is amazing how little information there is out there about the use of hair tonics. Either that or I am looking in the wrong places.
I collect and restore (mechanically) Victors and Victrolas as a hobby; or at least I did. I started getting too many machines and ran out of places to put them!
I'm still amazed at the sound you can get from a wind-up record player. I have an Orthophonic that I am finishing up and it is amazing...
I was thinking of giving the Pinaud Eau de Quinine a try. I have used some of the creams in the past but never a liquid like the Pinaud.
Do you apply it to wet hair and how much is enough (or will I just know? ;) )?
Sorry for the noob questions but this stuff ain't styling gel. :p
