HAPPY FELT HAT DAY!
Woke up this morning and the humidity had broken!! I knew SOMETHING was going on...turns out to be Felt Hat Day! We still have a couple months here in central Florida of highs in the 90's so won't be wearing felt much during the day yet. Looks like a little more wear for the Akubra Capricorns!- Tampahound

What do you think of modern "Street/Punk" Fedoras?
While I'm not terribly fond of them, I try to not be judgmental toward them as I don't want people to be judgmental about my fedoras! I agree with those that suggest that this is a step in the right direction.- Tampahound

I used only an orange hat sponge (dry, but might try damp), the steam from my iron, and a little shaping on the brim. I am a bit afraid to do a naptha bath myself.- Tampahound

Well the first of the two Knox 20's I found on the bay arrived... YIKES!!:eek: After a round of cleaning and steaming... I did find a few moth munches, but nothing so dramatic that the hat is a bust. If anyone is interested, I'll get pictures of the liner and headband up shortly...- Tampahound
