Up for sale Aero August 42” in Battered Tan horsehide. This is a beautiful half-belt but it’s just not getting the wear it deserves as I favour dark brown leather. The August pattern is a great cut and hangs well, the action back gives more freedom of movement when reaching forward making it a...
Up for sale is my lightly worn Premier 1930’s Half Belt, made by Julie Leitch. The hide is evenly matched brown CXL FQHH with Minto check lining, the size is 40”. Sadly since my retirement I no longer have the slim frame to wear this in comfort.
If you are in the market for a 1930’s pattern, in...
Aero August in battered tan horsehide, 42”. Don’t recall seeing many of this pattern out in the wild so might be of interest to forum members. Aero list this as a medium weight horsehide but it’s got some heft to it.
Size 42
Measurements
Chest 23 1/4”
Shoulders18 1/2”
Sleeves 25”
Back 24 3/4”...
Just spotted this on Aero's Facebook page, Julie Leitch celebrating 25 years at Aero. Its estimated she's machined 14,000 jackets, I'm surprised she's got any any fingers left!
What an achievement though, respect!

Up for sale is a very nice RL mid weight cowhide Half-Belt, with immense grain and lovely vintage details. With its slightly longer length, back pleat and button cuffs, the pattern is very similar to a 'Pioneer' and is fitted with quality antique brass hard wear, including D ring waist pulls...
Ok, so I know it's not a good idea to search eBay jackets when you've just got back from the pub, but I spotted this Ralph Lauren half belt at a very low 'buy it now' and before I knew what had happened I'd bought it. Although I've never been a fan of fashion leather, this had so much vintage...
Pike Brothers n-1 deck jacket with tags, size medium but these do come up larger. Worn only half a dozen times so in excellent condition. Purchased from Aero Leathers and currently retailing for £260.
Chest pit to pit: 23 1/2"
Shoulders, seam to seam: 18 3/4"
Sleeves, shoulder seam to cuff...
For sale a very rare, large sized, 1940's Hercules jacket. No label but from the graining I would suggest horsehide. There is an interesting plastic lined pocket, for keeping cigarettes or tobacco dry (thanks handymike for the info on that). All zips are Talon and all work well. The lining is...
Just got my hands on a nice 1940's Hurcules style long half belt. Looks all original to me but one of the Talon zipped chest pockets is lined in plastic! All the others are lined in standard moleskin. Never seen anything like it before, can anyone shed any light on this? Original feature or...
After a trip to the factory earlier this year, I just couldn’t get past the classic design of 1930’s half belt, so ordered a size 40” in tumbled brown. Unfortunately, things didn’t turn out as I expected (which I won’t go into here) so Ken and Denny suggested their new premium 1930’s pattern...
Don't know if this one has been discussed, but just spotted this Ironheart/Alexander collaboration. Cafe racer with a collar!

Some interesting designs showing up in the sale pages. Test jackets that didn't make the final selection, but might give a clue as to what will be coming. Half-belt Delux meets the Stuart perhaps?

Up for sale is my GW Ventura in russet brown, vegetable-tanned, aniline finished front quarter horsehide. I can't say enough about the quality of this Japanese hide or the jacket, but sadly it has always been a little bit too snug for me so has hardly been worn.
The tag size is 42" but...
Couldn't believe it when I spotted this Kudu Pioneer lurking in the Aero sale section. Sale jackets aren't usually for me, because I prefer a slighly longer body length than standard. This one just happened to be my size 40", my sleeve length and in a slightly longer length - pretty much...
Seeing a few sale jackets made from a 'Tumbled Front Quarter Horsehide'. It's looks nice, but doesn't seem to have the waxy finish of the standard brown heavy front quarter horse. Just wondered if anyone had seen this hide or a sample of it...
This is probably old news, but just noticed on Aero's Facebook site that Will has parted company and Ken has returned to take up the slack. Good to see old experienced hands at the helm, but a real shame to see Will go. I remember a long telephone conversation we had when I was ordering my...
Just noticed two pre-production Indy jackets in the Aero sale section - looks interesting!

Just managed to snag this really nice old half-belt and just had to share some pics of the lovely graining on it. The label is missing, so I don't know anything about it, but judging by the grain I would think it has to be horsehide. As for the age, I'm guessing 1940's but I would welcome...
