A free hosting service like Photobucet or Imageshack will suit your needs.
Upload the photos to the site and copy the link to your message.

1)You can make 15 quik posts smile then I think you are allowed attachements, have to ask a BT for that though.2) You can go to photobucket.com sign up and are able to upload photos from your desktop folder right to your photo bucket base. Once you upload your photos go to the folder you created in photobucket copy the link to the photo, the URL info will be below each of your uploaded pictures. Paste the link in your thread. The link will then allow any FL member to see your pictures in one click, also saves space for the Lounge and keeps the post and threads a little cleaner. Photobucket is free for basic use. http://photobucket.com/

You will have to post them at some file hosting site like flicker.com, imageshack.us, etc.

Once the pics are on that site, you can use BBS code to reference the url like this:
your_pic.jpg

I hope that helps. There is a reference for BBS codes here FAQ BBS Codes

^As stated above. I use Imageshack, which will allow you to resize your picture as you upload. Something like 800x600 would be an appropriate size.

And please--please!--post those photos!

Outstanding

That gray hat really floats my boat - do you have its salient stats? By that I mean the big 4: crown height, brim width, felt color, ribbon color. You've hit on a really sweet combination. Did Art make the straw hat as well?

Thank you

for the post hipster and Thank you gents for the kind comments.
Since it was so recent, let me see if my memory is still OK carldelo

crown- open 5 3/4
brim 2 3/4
color Sahara ( dark tan)
ribbon is 6 ligne dark tan both crown & binding.

Essentially Hipster asked for a Strat design (teardrop crease) modified to fit him personally as to best appearing according to his body/head/face shape.

Panama, carldelo, Felt

regarding the panama, it was blocked, brim ribbon, and Arts leather sweat band. The rest we never really got into the quality ( 300 weave,500 weave, Hell, I just put all in his hands, just told him i needed a panama, and I liked the smaller ribbon , and gave him my price range for this hat).
The panama is light, fits good, and is what i wanted and needed.

As for the felt, I have NEVER had a hat fit so damn good. Its a perfect fit. When I put it on for the first time, my first thought was, Not one of my existing hats fit correctly.

I shave my head, so length of hair isnt a problem. The felt feels like butter and soft to the touch, although not floppy by any means. No flaws whatsoever in the felt, stitching, band or lining.

My wife has seen me in a bunch of hats (fedoras, wide brims, and a bunch of stingys, I think i have about 20,bosalinos,vintage dobbs, newer stetsons, biltmores). Half the time she cant tell the difference, although with the Fawcett felt, she said it looked familiar, i just said " Aviator, tucker", her response was, yea, looks like the 40's. Perfect.

The leather sweat bands are bitchen. I thought borsalino hat a nice sweat band, but Arts are way superior.

Both hats arrived the same day in separate boxes. The felt had a custom oval shaped box that is very cool and good quality. The panama came in a cardboard quality hat box which is just fine.

If anyone is on the fence about ordering from Art, you wont regret it.
By far, this is the best fitting, looking, feeling hat I own.
Next, up, porkpie.

hipster,

That Stratoliner is great looking! I sent Art my deposit last Thursday. He is going to ship the conformer next week. I told him I wanted something like a Stratoliner or an Open Road with a diamond crease, a thin ribbon and a bound edge. Yours is the first thin ribbon Strat type hat I have seen from him although I have seen a lot of his hats on this forum.

I am glad to hear it fit you so well. I have never had a hat that fit perfectly so I am sure I am in for a treat.

Thanks for adding the pictures.
