I did one of those on a repaired Open Road & executive veto was exercised by SWMBO. It went back to tear drop!
Am I actually reading this?
As I've asked only one other hatman, are you a man or a mouse... and, if the answer is the latter, be a

Oh well, that at least explains the bedding.
[huh] :cheers1:

p.s. I'll contribute $5.00 toward a new camera.

Yet, I'll bop around all day if it's overcast and all night with the brim up which most folks think is pretty dorky but I'm not self-conscious about it at all. Go figure .

I guess if we all had the same sense of style then there would be no style and life would be a drag.
Brim up will hold too much rain, need to let it drain out!
Thanks.

Indeed.

And what's with all these westerns that portray horsemen or wagoners riding through clear skies with their brims up. A smart wagon train Boss or Cavalry officer surely would not allow such nonsense. Sunburn can take a man out of commission .

One word = Hollywood! Hats snapped down in front hide those pretty boy actor faces! Look to more recent westerns for a more accurate portrayal of hat styles actually worn in those days, Tombstone, Tom Horn, Crossfire Trail, Conagher, Broken Trail, Lonesome Dove. They are dramatically different than serial westerns, spaghetti westerns, & TV westerns of the heyday of westerns.

My new glen grey Campdraft was delivered yesterday.
The box looked fine.

The hat looked fine.

The fit was just a bit large.

But, being an intrepid hatman, I inserted the sizing strip.

Now for the dry crease. I tried a C-crown with side dents but the hat wasn't too happy. So I went with an old favorite.

I HATE the USPS!

Sticker on my door said available for pick up 3/12 after 8am. I get there at 4:55pm thinking they close at 5pm, hectic driving thru metro traffic. Finally get to the counter at 5:15pm & after 20min of looking, no package! I could understand if I'd been there at 9am but 9 hours later than when they said it'd be there. And WTF are you going to do? It's the Post Office!
Supervisor did say they would try to re-deliver tomorrow when I'll be home. Yea, right....thanks for the venting...:rage:  :rage: [huh]

When Jimmy, Indy, Rusty, and Deputy Swoopy like a crease the stars must be properly aligned. ;) :)

Thanks to one and all for their kind remarks.
