Anyone here do graphic design or logo work?

I'm looking to update the logo for my restoration and hot rod business I just started a few months ago.
Right now it's just a 32 deuce coupe with some retro font I found that I put together real quick.

I'm looking to do 50's retro logo like this one I found:

I can do decent graphic work but I think I need some outside views and help on this one.
Anyone here that can lend a hand?

I could do you a 50s style logo as long as you didn't mind it actually looking like a logo designed in the 1950s. But I would think for the hot rod market you'd want some colorful "visual shorthand" that evokes the 50s without looking "old."

Basically what I'm looking for is what I posted above.
AS long as it has the business name: Retro Lane Autworks and if you wanted to add either EST 2007 or a tag line like Classics & Hot Rods.
I love the spears like in the above graphic and also the neon.
I'd love to see what you can come up with.
