Has there been any consideration given to dividing the classifieds up? I know it's not a busy enough subforum to be truly necessary, but if it was divided into Hats, Shoes, and Clothes (i.e. Leather Jackets, let's be real) folks could subscribe to any or all, which would help both buyers and sellers.
This often occurred to me and I would convince myself that I'm just being impatient and grumpy. I'm pleased that I'm not alone in not appreciating the unnecessary clutter when looking for hats.

Well it serves me right for making assumptions...

I must say it would make it a simpler and more enjoyable experience for me if hat classifieds were separated. Would it detract from your experience too much if hats were not in the same thread as everything else?

Andrew, I never post hats here, anymore. They're just lost in the pile in less than a day and it's annoying to keep bumping them to the top. I just go straight to eBay.

Leprechaun origins is a terrible movie, but I want this hat. It looks like an 8 pannel cap with the brim not attached to the top and loose enough that the body of the hat can lay over slightly like a beret. Suggestions from the cap experts?

Hat People in Oregon make their 8-panel caps with the brims not attached to the crowns, and you can select from four "cuts" to get the amount of crown you prefer. They're usually limited to the fabrics they have on-hand (I don't know if they make caps from materials provided by customers, you could contact them to ask) and their caps have fabric sweatbands (cotton, I think), but it wouldn't be a bad place to start. I have four of their caps, and for $56 (shipping is included in the price) I think they're well-made and very comfortable.
