Charities

I am looking to replace one of my charities and am hoping to find one focussing on history and such. Those who favor an earlier era might donate to Colonial Williamsburg Foundation or Daughters Of The American Revolution, etc...

But what about people of our mindset? Are there charities that we can help? Museums? Cultural Centers?

Richard (who woulda thought I was a philanthropist?)

Here's one.

Well, I think there are a lot of mindsets here, certainly not a collective singular one. That said, if you're interested in protecting older buildings most states have a Landmark Preservation Council. Here in Illinois they are really the only watchdog group trying to protect many old buildings from the developer's bulldozer. i give to them, they do a pretty good job.
