Cleaning Advice - Yellow Spots on Suits

I apologize if this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find anything specifically about this topic.

I acquired a brown and white pinstripe suit that has been stored in a closet with hanging moth cakes. The fabric has random yellow spots throughout, noticeable in the white areas, and are particularly visible on the lapels. The suit is a massively sized (around 50R) double breasted 3 piece number dated 1942.

I took it to the cleaners and the spots did not come out. I'm wondering if maybe the gases from the moth cakes reacted with the fabric and "burned" it.

Does anyone have suggestions about what to try? I've never had to deal with this kind of issue before. I've considered hydrogen peroxide/water, vinegar/water, and vodka, but haven't settled on anything yet.

Any advice is most appreciated. Cheers.
