Thanks guys! I'm happy with this one, and I will make a smaller version, but not too small because then you can't tilt it to one side just like Ed mentioned earlier.

Fabrics

Here are some vintage fabrics that I have. I can only make 1, 8 Panel Newsboy cap each:

1940s or 50s Donegal Tweed:

More Vintage Fabric

This one is pretty cool. Its like a brick color, with nice pattern design. I might have enough for 3 or 4 caps, either 8 panel newsboy or 8 dart caps:

Vtg 1940s 100% wool plaid fabric.

Vtg 1930s(?) 100% Brushed Wool should make an interesting winter cap. This one might be too thick for an 8 panel newsboy, but I can make an 8 dart cap:
