I recently picked this item up on eBay. It's in great shape, with just some minor high point wear, and one scrape to one of the elbows. Unfortunately it's too small on me, so a slim fit 42, or probably a modern day 40 or even 38.

Leather is in great shape, overall, with some wear at the elbows, and a rich deep brown. Zip out lining is in fine condition, inner lining has one or two small holes in the wear points where seams meet. All snaps are in good working order. I don't know anything about the maker but it's a fine quality vintage leather jacket.

Measurements:
Pit-pit: 22"
Sleeve: 24-25" measured along the curve.
Shoulders: 18"
Length: 22.5"

Looking to get what I paid for it, $125 shipped to conus. Outside shipping at cost.

Thanks for the useful information, tweedydon.

Here are some more photos, showing my measurements:

And here's photos of the wear at the elbows. This one is superficial topcoat wear:

And this one has a deeper scape. No holes, though, and not very noticeable when worn:

If it's a Schott, it can be dated. What era is this jacket?
I don't see any tag identifying the lot/year like you'll find on a Perfecto, and I'm not an expert, but I would guess 70s. I really don't know, though, so if anyone reading this might know better, or tell me where to look, that's my best guess.
