No, I know that it has a wider brim & i think a taller crown.

It also pre-dates the Fed IV, so its a little more like the Fed III. I have both and its basically a Fed III with a wider brim and a deluxe sweat. At least, that's the way it looks to me.

Unless they've tried to fix it behind the scenes, the Fed IV has a taller crown.
The Adventurer (originally to be named the "Explorer") is not as tall crowned as the old Federation III - or IV - but it does have a wider brim like the old Federation.

Ribbon is a bit light on the Adventurer.

Akubra Federation III (dimensional 2 7/8" x 2 3/4" brim with a 6" crown height)
Akubra Federation IV (dimensional 2 3/4" x 2 1/2" brim with a 5 5/8" crown height)
Akubra Adventurer (dimensional 3 1/8" x 2 7/8" brim with a 5 1/2" crown height)

More info on what people were observing between the hats at the time.

I guess that's right. My mistake.

Some of us definitely favor the wider brims of the Fed III and the DM Adventurer. Don't forget that if you've got too much brim, you can always take a little off but you can never put more on. I've trimmed many a hat to get just the brim dimension I wanted.
