Does this Stetson need a reblock?

Hi all,
I was looking for a light color fedora for the summertime. I just received a Stetson Open Road Royal Deluxe.

The hat appears in very nice condition. It is a pleasure to wear.
I have some questions. What type of felt is it? What time period is the hat? If possible to tell from the pictures, does it need a reblock? I ask because the felt at the crown in the back looks a bit 'lumpy'. Overall, that hat is nice and pliable. Would a reblocking smooth it out and give it a neater appearance?

That Stetson "Open Road" looks to be a late 40's model. The brown leather sweat band and the liner looks 40's. The felt is a blend of beaver and rabbit hair. If you want to get the lumps out of the crown, just simply hold it over a kettle of boiling water and steam it good! Steam it open crowned and then after you get the lumps out you just hand bash it the way you want it to look and then, it will have your own touch and personality.

You will then own the look!
