Robert Ryan in 'Bad Day at Black Rock'. Heck all three creeps in that movie. Lee Marvin and Ernest Borgnine. Robert Ryan had a great wardrobe though and the movie is brilliant.

Delbert Grady (Phillip Stone) -- The Shining
Grady is the true villain of The Shining as he is the personification of the spirit of the Overlook Hotel which ultimately possesses Jack Torrance. Grady was also a previous caretaker of the Overlook who went crazy and murdered his family.

Early Victor Mature noir flicks where he plays a hatchet man etc... he always wwears his hat so turned down, cocked and slouched he's villainous just looking at him...
