FS: Aero 50's Half-Belt, size 38, brown steerhide

Take a close look at this beautiful leather jacket from Aero Leather Clothing of Galashiels, Scotland. A classic styled jacket based on patterns from the 1950s, built to the highest standards of quality and sewing.

Gently worn and perfectly broken in. Everything is in excellent condition, no issues, just the usual character marks from normal wear. The lining is wool tweed, with cotton drill sleeves and heavy canvas duck pocket linings. The zippers are brass talon NOS. The natural brown chromexcel steerhide is supple and soft. The "hand" of this leather just invites touching.
There are three pockets, two handwarmers and one breast pocket.

A new Aero 50's Half-Belt jacket will cost close to $1000 and takes years to break in to this state. This is a great deal at a fraction of the price.

According to my bathroom scale, which isn't as precise, it's 5 lbs. According to my kitchen scale, which I use to mail packages for postage, it's 4.5 lbs.
