For sale is rare Lost Worlds cotton duck jacket in size S, recommended for women, kids or for guys under ca. 1,70 m/ 65 kg (5'7"/ 144 lbs).

I think this pattern doesn't have a name currently listed on the website. It's probably most comparable to the Test and Suburban. - EDIT: it's the Ryder.

It's in flawless condition save for the cotton duck looking slighty faded (but still black). The zippers are fully intact and move firmly but smoothly, the lining and pockets have no holes or other visible wear, the jacket smells completely (closet-)neutral.

Stuart pursues the same robustness in cotton which he does in leather. This is not a flimsy summer fashion jacket. It's tough and protective and comes with armpit ventilation holes like any motorcycle jacket. Adjustable side straps, zippered chest pocket, interior chest pocket.

Asking € 190 or best offer. Shipping from the EU. Paypal with buyer protection or Wise.

LW canvas is awesome. I have a Roadhouse and Trojan in it. Too bad for me it’s small.

I also have a size L of the same model I might sell, but for a higher price as it's in actually new condition (canvas still pitch black). Not decided on that one yet.

OP seems to favor short size based on J24 post too, so not surprised to see the short sleeve and back length

backlength is deceiving with lost worlds jackets because the collar sits lower on the neck than jackets of other makers, especially aero. a lw with same backlength as aero will fit longer.

This is correct - thanks for pointing out. Check out this photo of a size 40S Lost Worlds J-24 and a size 40 Schott 125 hanging next to each other (on the same hanger model). The difference is obvious.

Lion-mane-like huge, heavy collars seem to be one of Stuart's obsessions.

In terms of torso length, these two cotton ducks (to stay in the animal kingdom) seem pretty normal to me. It's just the sleeves, especially of the size L, which are on the short side.

As far as I know, most of Stuart's textile stuff was made for the Japanese market about 20 to 30 years ago. He told me that the size labels during that period were chosen by his wholesale customers, so they are probably not reliable today.

Finally, the Ryder is meant to be tightened at the waist using straps through D-rings, which can change the overall fit.

Maybe you can send photos of how you're measuring the back and sleeves? From the photos they don't look so short.

Attached. Sorry for the low-fi photo quality.

And here's a chest photo of the size L someone asked for. Apparently I can't attach photos to private messages at the moment, nor can I directly insert images in forum posts; something seems wrong with the (mobile) website.
