A fellow came to me with a WWI tunic and wanted it altered to fit him.
It was to small in the shoulders and I told him it coudnt be made larger.
it looked very very pristine I asked if it was original or repro.
he said original so i started looking at the union label size label and finally army inspecton label.
it was from a sanfrancisco depo august 1918 and the inspector had my last name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I looked it over very carefully and it seams legit only one small moth hole.
I dont think it was ever issued.
i'll try to post a picture when I get a camera.
