In another thread, I detailed the causes of my aversion to the contemporary movie experience. Still, I miss the big screen experience. Without the resources to set up a home theater, I have been researching the next best thing: the head mounted display (HMD).
Of more value than all the specs and professional reviews about these personal 52 inch screen wonders are the evaluations by my fellow Loungers. Before I succumb to the cool factor (the Sony Glasstron's are sooooooo cool/futuristic!) and the lure of the big screen experience without the drawbacks of the real deal or the cost of a home theater, tell me what your knowledge and experience with these HMDs has been? Has anyone had any experience with any HMD other than Sony's? Do you really get five hours of play time?
