There is a clear break between the front teeth and the back...

Crowns have been around for years, at least well before the golden era...those are dental crowns I would suggest...

When the movie "E.T." came out, I remember a very young Drew Barrymore being interviewed on The Tonight Show. The poor child was at that "my front teeth fell out and the new ones aren't quite in" stage so they had given her some sort of clip-on front teeth. I guess they were bothering her because she took them off and set them on Johnny's desk! So, even Hollywood children were equipped with Star Smiles.
