RIP. Truly an iconic photo. I can only imagine the celebrations that must have spontaneously broken out at the end of WWII. It would be nice if we had something to celebrate like that now.

Each to their own, of course, but for myself I'd rather not go through something that horrifc in order to celebrate its end.

Mixed feelings about that particular photo, really, though it's certainly historically iconic.
