I apologize if this has been asked but I am curious if any of you know any History works that trace men's fashion and relate it to other cultural trends from say the Victorian Era up to the 1960s.

I do have Alan Flusser books and they are a great reference as well as many of the catalog scans you all posted but I am wondering if there is something like a history book on men's fashion that has quality primary historical references?

Or would I better off just scouring back issues of fashion journals like Design Quarterly or Journal of Design History ?

Oh I also found this book but it is expensive and I wondering if the information would be considered properly sourced historically?

A History of Men's Fashion by Farid Chenoune

Thanks for any references
