Please help me date my Brill Bros G-1 jacket

Hi all,

I've done some basic research that shows that any Brill Bros made G-1's were from a 1968-1987 timeframe.... could we be more specific ? I want to sell this on ebay and want to offer an accurate description.

The label is white and reads in full:

JACKET, FLYER'S,
INTERMEDIATE, TYPE G-1
SIZE 38
MIL-J7823E [ AS ]
BRILL BROS., INC.
8415-00-268-7798
DLA100-82-C-0564

The zipper is made by GENERAL

Also I'm not sure if it's goat or cowhide, it's quite a soft, wrinkly skin whatever it is, it's in great condition with no wear/damage to the knitwear at all.

the first one with the DSA-1 looks to be a 1965 fiscal year
the second one is only showing a National stock number which would range from 1975 to the present

There would not be a contract date on nwere G-1s?

Sure there would be a contract number but it's crossed out with a sharpie or something on the jacket in the link
