Possible 1930s-1950s Mens Coat help needed

I purchased a mens overcoat about 6 months ago. I've not done anything with it yet as I'm trying to date the coat correctly. I'd like to post pictures here so I can ask your opinions on the age of the coat. What pictures would be most important? I know to provide the labels. I also figure the pockets, interior of the coat, seams, etc. Is there anything in particular that would be helpful for me to show you? I know it's rather obvious I don't purchase a lot of menswear, however, I'd like to change that.

If it has a belt, then pictures of the buckle might be of interest. Also, I believe buttons can be useful (to those who know about these things).

Weigh the coat and give the weight, since that will enable comparison (older coats are usually heavier).

Thank you. I have taken some rough photos that should give you an idea of what era I have here. As far as the weight of the coat is concerned, it's roughly 4 pounds. I'd hazard a guess that this coat would have been worn in the spring and fall as the wool is not the heavy wool you'd see with a true winter coat. It's kind of like the weight of a woman's Easter coat, if you will pardon the comparison.

The coat is a brown wool what I'd call window pane pattern. Single breasted. Single vent in the back. Sleeves are lined. Coat is lined to the waist on the back side and you can see from the photos how it is lined in the front. In looking at the back lining it looks like the upper lining got wet (I would say sweat but I'd expect to see fading of the lining and there is no odor at this point).

The one label is for Fiegeran and Weiss. I did find this ad for Fiegerman and Weiss from July 13, 1928.

This is the company I believe may have at least provided the fabric for this coat: http://www.johnsonwoolenmills.com/
I have emailed them to see if my guess is correct or not.

On to the photos.
