Reproduction Vintage Clothing?

Hey, Everybody!
Has anybody here heard of any reproduction vintage clothing stores... I find the same ones over and over again, most of them sell Stop Staring! clothes, which aren't actually reproduction.. just "inspired." I like RevampVintage, I'm wondering if there's any more out there like them that I've been missing out on?? Almost every search I have started has ended up with military clothes, which is interesting, but not what I'm looking for right now (must get a USO uniform one day!) Anyway, I haven't found any place that uses period correct fabric, it's just matched up roughly close.
Thanks in advance, all you's crazy kids!

Kaela, have you seen some of the links in this thread? There are some links with real vintage and reproduction vintage too.

Most of what I know of is online. I see you're in CA (just not sure which part). The only CA store I can recommend based on first hand knowledge is Dick, Jane, & Spike's down in Oceanside (near San Diego).

This site is kinda like a mall with different shops. You might find something like what you're looking for here:

ReVamp in LA has a 'few' nice repro pieces.

I have heaps of original stuff from collecting over the years but I also like to make things myself from original 30s and 40s patterns. It's fun and it means I can use more washing freindly fabrics that still look the part.

Wow - there's lots of vintage stuff I can wear - if I want to wear dresses. :)

Men's stuff, as BellyTank says, is pretty thin on the ground. Especially in reproduction.

Zoot suits, some casual jackets (excepting the great militaria, there's lots of that), and that's about it.

Nice to see mention of the guild, here. I am a member :)
Although membership is restricted to trade members, the public board is open to all -- lots of helpful hints and a great place to ask questions: http://www.vintagefashionguild.org/public/index.php
You have to register, but it's free.

Actually.. the guild itself doesn't offer anything for sale-- but there you can find a list of ebay sellers who adhere to a strict criteria, as well as any other venue the sellers may use. Here's a new page listed with many of the offereings of VFG members:
http://www.vintagefashionguild.org/shopvfg.html
Another thing you can do is use "vfg" in your ebay search.
However.. the guild does have an exclusive venue, in that you must be a VFG member to list here:
www.vc-mall.com (vc=vintage clothing)
The sister site, who's membership is not restricted, is www.babylonmall.com
Another NEW site hoping to give ebay a run for their money where vintage is concerned is www.thevintagedress.com

As far as I can tell Geromino's site have been down at least 6 months or so (at geronimoclothing.com). Do they have a new address or are they out of business?

They are still in operation, but their website is down.
