Had a couple of nice picks in the last 2 weeks. A set of Parker 45s, mechanical pencil and fountain pen. It had two converters with the set so not only is this one set up, I was able to fix up my other 45 Flighter with a converter. Got the set for less than the price of one converter because they are engraved with "Betty". Fine by me, they work great!
Then I picked up a real "mud puppy" phone, someone had spray painted it silver and it looked rough, but I decided to try it anyway as it had a coinverter to a modular jack. Got it today and it works beautifully! But it is even uglier in person than in the pics.
After starting the scrubbing process:

Okay, so who remembers the word prefix for 98 or 69?
Then I picked up a real "mud puppy" phone, someone had spray painted it silver and it looked rough, but I decided to try it anyway as it had a coinverter to a modular jack. Got it today and it works beautifully! But it is even uglier in person than in the pics.

Vaseline or thin oil is good for bakelite polishing, but it still looking good.
