Not sure G, I'd guess around c1950 by the style of artwork however could be earlier or later depending if the company changed the artwork or kept it the same over a long period of time?

I think the 6/11 is for six shillings and eleven pence old money so more than likely pre 1971.

The binoculars are WWII fixed focus 5x 40's intended for aircraft spotting on land and sea, these were made for the Air Ministry hence the AM probably by Ross, they're missing their rubber eye cups and one objective 'beauty' ring, they'll probably go for spares to be honest as they need a bit of work.

also got this little US made No 10 micrometer by the Brown & Sharpe Mfg Co, it's got what look like little War Dept crows feet arrows on it? lend lease WWII?? it's in good working conditiion but again will probably be passed on as it's not really my thing but you know how it is you have to save these things!

Mighty fine trove of trucks. Been on a mission to find some new old ties. Picked up 5 recently, most of them featuring a "rougher" texture to go with my tweed, camel hair and wool sports coats as the cooler climes approach, including a saddle club wool tie and a Don Loper- a more traditional 1 which is my style. Yes, I do know how it is. I routinely pick up stuff for which I have no real use (or even space), just to save it from those who might abuse it. Most of that stuff gets passed along to deserving friends and associates.
