1) When did the move away from Double Brested suits with large lapels, to single breasted suits with smaller lapels begin? Same question goes for ties--from wide ties to thinner ones?
2) What are in general some things about men fashion that changed from 1933 to 1964 (just before the British invasion)--Just any number of things.
3) When did the move from wide brimmed fedora to stingy really begin?
4) Ricky/Eisenhower jackets--more of a 40s, 50s or 60s thing? What sort of spring/fall jacket would a man wear in the early-mid 1960s? The post 1965 era is pretty easily to understand fashion wise because it's so "recent" in terms of long term time...But it's harder to do with the pre 1965 era and the Golden Era, and I'd love to see the little changes in fashion before and after WWIII but before the big 1965 and beyond changes.
I really just want to gain a complete understanding of fashion and fashion trends in America from the '30s to pre-Vietnam '60s.
