As a long-time L M Montgomery fan I've just had the Betsy-Tacy books recommended to me.
I read a review on Wikipedia (the fount of all knowledge, I know...) and they sound, well, saccharine in the extreme.
Has anybody else come across them? Are they worth the price of admission? And do they have the charm of that Anne-girl...?
