The British Dance Band show (mp3 podcast)

I just stumbled across this great site that has a weekly podcast of Era British dance band music.
I've always loved the British jazz and dance music from this period because it's softer and dreamier than the American big band sound of the same period.

The host is John Wright whose show playlists come from his own personal 2000 disc strong 78rpm collection

All the shows are directly playable or downloadable. Unfortunately, quite a few have been taken offline and archived, but there are still more than 50 hours/100 shows to enjoy!

I've listened to 4 of these shows today already. They're excellent and John gives great information about the musicians, dates and venues.

I'll be making some space on my harddrive for these little beauties!
