A few years ago, the San Francisco Noir City Film Festival program was devoted to noir films shot on location in SF. It was great to see some of those historic places, Sutro Baths included. Here's a link you might enjoy:
Reel SF - San Francisco movie locations in classic films. I like the one of The Lineup which gives the actual street address of the house where Dancer (Wallach) finds the heroin in the little girl's doll.
