Where I grew up we had a two chair barbershop just off the square, even though we only had one barber. The barber owned the pool hall & you would go thru a pair of saloon doors into the pool hall in the back room. There were 5 pool tables plus an area where old men had a system to play poker using dominoes instead of cards because gambling was illegal in the entire county. I've been playing pool since I was 8 yrs old. I could tell you lots of stories. I think I told you about Eddie's on Market St. where you live.
