One of those interesting choices that was made for Indiana Jones was the choice of a felt hat for heading through the hot humid jungle. I'm sure felt hats in general have always been looked at as the durable alternative in a world where it was either straw or fur felt, but I just remember and love the look of the old Tuscan Vintner or the classic French Army hat Banana Republic used to sell.
