I have been trying to find a decent bag to use that I can carry on board an airplane. I have looked at the Saddleback Leather bags such as the waterbag:

http://www.saddlebackleather.com/ca...roducts/3793-Leather-Waterbag-Medium-Chestnut

and the Saddlback Duffle:

The problem with these bags, is that they seem to be a royal pain to get in and out of quickly. At the airport, I travel light and keep much of my things in the pockets of my current duffle. I am in and out of the bag quite often while checking in. These bags require you to unbuckle them which seems like a chore.

So I found some nice canvas OD bags from Temple Bag company:

Anyone familiar?

I was thinking of the duffle here:

They have a nice Uzip bag but its 650 bucks... The bags are not cheap, thats for sure....

The one that I originally found online was this one, which I cant find on their main site... I like the look of this one better than the duffle on the main temple site...

Sorry for the long post. Anyone have any reviews of Temple bags, or recommend other canvas bags?

Thanks!

I am a huge fan of Tom Bihn bags. The Tom Bihn Aeronaut is the perfect duffel like travel bag. Roomy enough for a week worth of clothes and supplies, designed to fit in most overhead compartments, yet tough enough to be checked when needed. I have traveled with this bag for several years and it is very easy to move the bag on and off of planes, trains, ferries and automobiles. It doesn't have the 'vintage" appeal of the Saddleback or canvas bags that you mention, but it works so well, I don't care ;)
