Unknown 1930's Military Jacket?

Cut down Colvinex flight suit. Goatskin. USN issue. As a full, electrically heated, one piece flight suit, they were pretty useless post-war, so a lot got de-wired and cut down into motorcycle jackets.

Here's one I wear. Mine has extension panels below the belt, and even so, is very short, even by vintage standards. That one, hacked off directly below the belt would be almost unwearably so.
