Loungers,

I know I've turned into quite the lurker these days but I was wondering if anyone knew of any antique/hat or other vintage things to do in Washington DC? We have a free day tomorrow and one of the things that we are going to check out is the Capital City diner. However, we don't have anything else as we are doing the National Mall today. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

FG.

Definitely check out the Capital City Diner.

As far as antique/hat related things, you might want to try U St. NW
or Treasury Vintage
1843 14th St. NW, second floor, WASHINGTON DC 20009

Otherwise, I'd just say wander around and take in the city. There's a lot to see.

Halfway between Dupont Circle and Farragut North there is a great guitar shop that sells vintage guitars, basses, mandolins, and various other things like that. It is really cool
