  3. It look's to me that the pants have a stain.I asked a question about this. Other then that, it's a fine looking suit.

What the hell were we, a nation of Pygmies?? I ought to be able to sell some of my 7.5 vintage shoes to the person that can wear that suit. Every time I look at one of these suits I feel fatter. I wish I drank in the morning.

Huh? The inseam is nearly 36 inches long. This was a tall guy. Slim, but tall.
  6. Yeah, tell me about it. This outing of auctions really gets my goat.

  7. We were a nation where food was a lot pricier and labor a lot cheaper. It wasn't for nothing that one of the Seven Deadly Sins was Gluttony.

Agreed, this section of the Lounge is only helping jack up the prices on auctions and is completely unnecessary. Most of the items posted on here are easy enough to find on eBay anyway since they are correctly listed too...pointless.

    Just my size.

You hipped Dinerman and probably a host of others to the auction. And let me tell you, finding a suit in my size is near impossible. That's a downer.

yes? I often wondered when Marc other other Members found great deals and no one did bid on them.

So did anyone on the lounge end up with this suit?
  15. All this hand-wringing, and in the end there was only ONE bid on the suit. So much for creating undue competition.

Well, I'm glad I was still the only bidder. I really find it very difficult to get decent suits or jackets in my size. True, there was no Japanese competition to be expected, but I thought some of the other tall slim guys with monkey arms would bid on this one, too. Maybe the high starting bid scared them off.

  18. I think that's exactly what scared them off.
  19. And most importantly ... congratulations to Rudie and to the seller! :eusa_clap :eusa_clap
