Brown Portis Sterling today. The bash needs some work as it’s been offset since I received it. The side dents are a little awkward and it really didn’t want to adjust during its first steaming.

Upon arriving home, discovered a new hat at my door. Its a tan/light camel Worth & Worth "Baldwin" made for Barneys New York. The hat has a twist over 2-5/8" brim, wind trolly, mid-ribbon and open crown. I'm pretty sure the felt is hare. The ribbon's a little mottled, the sweatband stitching peaks out a little, ans its a little tighter than its size but a really, really nice hat. Im a sucker for the wind cord... pretty sweet snag!

What a killer day on the Lounge.

Thanks for all the "digs" for the Dobbs.

Going out to play under a c. 1910s Knox Extra Quality derby.

FRIDAY IS NIGH! Oh... Joy of joys!

Have a happy evening.

Yeah, I think it goes something like:

Cavanagh Edge
Stetson Mode Edge
Dobbs Guild Edge
Knox Custom Edge

There may very well be others, but I don't know them.
If I remember correctly, Stetson had a Selv-Edge before it was called Mode Edge, and then at some point brought back the Selv-Edge as a glued welt.
Lee had the EdgeLee I believe...gotta go back and read Brad's primer to be certain.

Classy images. The background suits the beauty of this Panama.

OK, one more pic of the Lee Fifteen, only because it goes so well with this 50's issue Army trenchcoat I recently found at the thrift store and have been waiting for a wet day to wear.

Perfect pairing, the eras are probably close too.
