Another day, another Dobbs (Fifteen, though).

I hope that all have a marvelous mid-week.

Another great Dobbs Matt. It looks a little purple on my monitor. I assume it is some type of dark brown. Nice.

Well, it is Whippet Wednesday.

Way to go all out on this theme David. Perfect. Love the color.

Love the Barbisio. You only get out of that chair to change hats, right?

Happy Hump Day!

Under the Frunoliner today.

all black today. c.1920s Schwarz. had to force a happy look, mourning a tragic loss of my father in law yesterday. Hug your significant others, children, siblings, pets for me on this day. Give all the love you can, because in the end, that is all we have

We're very sorry to hear of the loss of your father in law, Justin. We lost Sandra's father recently and I know how tough it can be, especially for our wives having lost their Dad's.

So happy for your budding friendship, you two! You look great!
@1mach1 : you're going to have to give me some tips to break the ice, Harv.... I tried to snuggle up with Mike Miller like this and he was having none of it, then his wife and daughters chased me out of the shop. I think they had weapons, too, like scissors and a #52 wooden block! I must be doing something wrong! ;):D;)

Another week, another WEDDING! Yup, down in Anthony's (@moontheloon) neck of the woods, sort of. This time a black tie affair, NO option! Fine, as long as one of my selection of tuxes fits (they shrink, and grow over time I have found...). My first, and favorite tuxedo has earned its keep, having been worn to several weddings, including my sister-in-law's colossal, three-ringed extravaganza 30 years ago. Where did I get this great garment? It was the very one my father wore to his indoctrination into the Masons in 1946. Yes, I have gotten Dad's father's money's worth out of this one!

Hat: 1952 Stetson St. Regis. Perfect!!

Oh, yes! They also had an attended coat/hat check room. The young gal was so completely clueless about what to do with a hat that when I suggested she slide the ticket behind the ribbon she misunderstood, and attempted to force the F-ing COAT HANGER into it. I saved it, and gently educated her for the next hat under her care.

Very Dapper, Chas! Congrats to the new couple and you wear your Dad's duds very well! St. Regis, the perfect topper for the occasion!

Phenomenal.... just PHENOMENAL, Justin.

Stay around your wife for a while. She might need you. Please pass along my condolences. May she take comfort in the great memories he left her.

I think Art F might be slightly more receptive to you, Doug, but that's a guess. Be gentle...
