I'm pretty darn thankful for this forum. Hope everyone has a filling dinner!
Looking sharp as always Wes! That velour is sweet, is it old-ish?

Have a great Thanksgiving,

Great look today Michael. Love that Sovereign! Eat well.
Wearing my fav Borsalino on Thanksgiving it's inconsequential and not that pompous like my other favorite hats!

Today is a day for pompous Samuel, but that Borsalino is definitely no slouch!

Figured the bird boots were appropriate for today.

Way to pull out the big guns Greg! Can you imagine trying to roast that Ostrich in your Mommy's oven?

Turkey Day. So of course, the Bird is the word.

Sent directly from my mind to yours.
Very appropriate Jim. Nice, that liner looks embroidered, or is it just printed that way?

Thanks! I'm not very educated on Churchills but I'd guess late 60s or 70s. Maybe 80s?
Im sure it's older than me, that's all I can say haha

Today is another ancient French hat on stroll to my office
takh2o.jpg

It is a JB made of wool, or mixed felt, before World War II

It comes from that landmark located in Strasbourg and precisely in the Chapellerie Meer

I have a particular preference for this hat even if some signs of the time are on it

Thanks for your appreciation for Monday's Flechet
Sweet crown on that one.

Everyone is looking great throughout the week. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving.

The BGCD finally arrived, so I decided to work on the bash this morning and make it my turkey day head gear.

Don't hurt yourselves too bad with the food.

Another great ensemble! The fair isle sweater, the plaid sport coat, the overcoat....hiting on all cylinders. And as always, the perfect hat to top it off.
Thanks DH. Have a good Thanksgiving.

Thanks Red. Contra the rest of the country I think I'm going to have a light eating day today. My sis and her husband are going to get here Saturday and I need have some spare calorie space for pigging out then.

Hope you all enjoy your turkey, or ham as the case may be.

Michael
